This 1954 Alfa Romeo 1900 Superleggera Touring Coupe is a beautiful example and excellent driver wearing an older restoration. Out of a collection and long-term ownership. Finished in burgundy with a tan and brown interior and fitted with 16 knock-off wire wheels. The car is in excellent condition throughout and driving it brings to mind the illustrious history of Alfa Romeo. The 1900 Series, introduced in 1950, was the first Alfa Romeo to be offered with left-hand (American-side) steering. Built with the new 1900 cc, 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, the car was an important step forward for the quality and performance automaker, and had an independent suspension all around and was very well received. This particular car is a very correct example fully eligible for the current Mille Miglia and, in fact, participated in the 1987 event. The Mille Miglia remains a very demanding competition and driving this beautiful Alfa Romeo there could be the motoring event of an enthusiast?s lifetime.
