This incredibly original 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce 750-Series is an extremely rare and exciting discovery. Red with red over white interior. This is the most original Giulietta Sprint Veloce you could ever ask for and an enthusiast dream come true. This car has been under the same ownership since the early 1960s and has never been restored. Heres your opportunity to be the first to restore a matching numbers car thats nothing but honest. Nice and straight Bertone coachwork. A solid and complete car thats full of both integrity and charm. This car has not been publicly offered for sale in 6 decades. The 750-series Sprint Veloce is very hard to come by and this particular example is the ideal candidate for a preservation class car. Its been off the road for several years and is not currently running. Alfa Romeo established the small car, big performance formula that would characterize the Milanese marques finest offerings when they introduced the Bertone-styled Giulietta Sprint in 1954. Alfas classic twin-cam four was downsized to 1,290 cc for the 750-series Giulietta, gaining an alloy cylinder block in the process. The Sprint coupe was soon joined by Berlina and Spider versions. The Giulietta models success surprised even Alfa Romeo themselves; production targets were revised upwards, and to satisfy demands for increased performance, upgraded Veloce versions of the Sprint and spider were introduced. The combination of a rev-happy engine, fine handling, responsive chassis, and excellent brakes made the Giulietta Sprint a pure drivers car and explains why these stylish Alfa Romeos continue to attract the discerning enthusiast today.
