Rare 1965 Porsche 911 Coupe: Early Short-Wheelbase Example
This 1965 Porsche 911 Coupe is an extremely desirable early Short-Wheelbase example that has had a 912 engine installed at some point in its life. Silver with black interior. Chassis # 300965 is just out of long-term ownership and storage. Its original engine went missing long ago. Mechanically sound, the car runs and drives well but would benefit from a straightforward cosmetic recommissioning at this time. Imperfections in the body are noted in the lower section of the doors. The car is in need of paintwork as it is showing its age at this point. The Mahle wheels are 15 and a matching spare wheel is in the front trunk. The original engine was replaced with a 1.6-liter flat-four sourced from a 1965 Porsche 912. Disc brakes all around. This highly collectible early 911 comes accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The car was built in April 1965 and was originally born in Light Ivory (6404). This extremely rare 911 Coupe represents an excellent value and is not to be missed by any Porsche enthusiast.
