In the mid-1990s BMWs design team began working on a styling exercise to revive the 507 but in a modern context - known as the Z07 this concept was refined for production and in 1998 BMW began offering its newest halo car the Z8 for sale around the world. This 2000 BMW Z8 was sold new in Ontario Canada and was purchased by the consignor with just 267 miles on it later that fall.Finished in Titanium Silver this Z8 has covered just 23 913 miles (38 485 km) from new and is in exceptional condition. Quoted power from BMW is 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque which makes for a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. This engine is connected to a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission that offers excellent shift action and makes the car tremendous fun to drive. BMW listened to this advice and offered Z8 owners a BMW Performance Package which comprises an updated strut bar and strut tower bracing which this car is fitted with and is known to solve these issues and dramatically improves handling.
