1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom IIContinental Sedanca Deville Coachwork By BrewsterThe 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Sedanca Deville with Coachwork By Brewster is available in black with a black and sand beige interior. It comes equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, rear luggage rack, wood trim, divisional window, rear jump seats, front pop-out windshield, slide back tendelet, and wire wheels. It is one of very few Phantom IIs built (only 1402) and even fewer on a Rolls Royce Continental chassis; with only 278 built, it makes it much more valuable. This particular car was built in 1934 as a Sedanca Drop Head Coupe Coupe by Mulliner, body #4149. It was sold to Major Cotton in March 1934 and the chassis was delivered on June 18, 1934. On October 5, 1937, 3 years later, the body was sold to Henry Baldwin in MA, to be placed on ex-Mrs. Todds chassis #212AMS, only to be sold by J. Inskip on October 9, 1941 to a Bluford HJ Balter. The car offered here, chassis 4SK was sold on January 9, 1937 by CM Willmore, now as a Town Brougham de Ville, bodied by Brewster with Builder No. 5002, to a Mrs. Grace Rainey Rogers of 58 Park Ave. New York City, a very prestigious address. On January 20, 1943, Mrs. Rogers sold the car for $1200 at auction to a Mr. Paul Kopf of 1136 Fifth Avenue, New York City, which kept the car at the affluent Park Avenue address.Rolls Royce records show the car in for a service in November 1946. The next owner listed was Major Robert J. Preble, who in 1953 was listed in the Rolls Royce owners records. On June 29, 1960 it was acquired by Osterloh & Son of Salt Lake City, who kept the car for approximately 44 years until finally persuaded in 2004 to sell the vehicle to David Weissman in Salt Lake City. For $89,500
