This 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner underwent an impressive restoration and has an absolutely exquisite look both inside and out. 1955 was the first year for Fords newest top-of-the-line model, the Fairlane, supplanting Fords Crestline as the new flagship model. Interestingly, the name Fairlane was borrowed from Henry Fords breathtaking and expansive Dearborn, Michigan estate Fair Lane. The flagship Fairlane models featured a totally new look for Ford, with longer, wider, and lower bodies, V shaped side trim, fender skirts, special Fairlane badging, and chrome headlight trim.
