This 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan is an absolutely stunning fifties Ford having benefited from a frame-off rotisserie restoration. 1956 was the second year for Fords top of the line passenger car which took its name from Henry Fords Fair Lane estate in Michigan. When Ford replaced its Crestline in 1955 with the Fairlane, it completely redesigned the body. The new bodies were longer, wider, and lower which gave the Fairlane a sportier, more futuristic look. The new-look Fairlanes also sported new V shaped side trim, special Fairlane badging, chrome headlight trim, fender skirts, and panoramic wraparound windshields, which were already on General Motors premium level marques including Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac.
