This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230SL is a largely restored car with all the hard work done already. Blue with tan leather interior. Two tops and a 4-Speed Manual gearbox. Theres little left to finish the job and everything thats needed to complete the restoration is included with the sale of the car. Not currently running. The metal work is done including the body panels and undercarriage which is excellent. The entire car was brought down to bare metal, primed with top grade primer, and prepped for the several layers of paint that was applied to complete the body work. The parts were then all reinstalled including a set of new euro headlamps. The engine was then reinstalled after a complete professional rebuild. The interior was reupholstered and the chrome was polished. Its been sitting in garage storage for some time and would benefit from a cosmetic freshening and detailing at this point. The car comes complete and represents an excellent opportunity to own a largely restored Pagoda at a bargain price. Dont miss this ever-desirable and collectible 230SL.
Things left to be done:
  • Install the new exhaust system
  • Install the radiator
  • Connect the fuel lines to the injection pump
  • Adjust and set the timing on the injection pump for delivery
  • Install the new soft top fabric that was purchased for the car
