1977 Ford F250 Highboy with 460 4 speed. second owner of the truck and it has not been on the road or licensed since 2001. Before continuing, truck was owned by an Ole timer from Oregon who put in a 460 shortly after buying the truck. have receipts from November of 1997 when the truck had 22,580 miles on it and now it has 23,067. cant say 100% that this original mileage but looking at the prior owners documentation the truck did not get driven much and hard to believe he put 100K on it in those 4 years. have original title and have all service manuals and books from new. When bought it it just had the heads redone with new cam, lifters, water pump and Weiand Stealth intake manifold. The work stopped there but was not put back together completely. have new carb, distributor, cap, rotor, valve covers, air cleaner, plug wires and multiple gaskets. Most things to get it going again. Rust wise it has some holes in the bed, some bubbles in the cab corners but not rotted through, rust hole in corner of drivers door and back rear fender. stripped the cab floor and resealed using the POR-15 system. It looks to have been painted before but I see no signs of bodywork. Looks like a scuff and shoot job. installed new door seals also. The doors open and close like old Fords do, nice and solid. All glass is good, tires are old but great tread on the Buckshot Monster Mudders. It has an aftermarket front bumper with old school Warn 8274 winch. This would be a sweet truck to be back on the road with not much work needed. We do not own this vehicle, vehicle is not located in boise.
